Turf care
With durable service as the design philosophy, artificial grass doesn’t need “rest”compared to natural grass. Proper maintenance is aimed to improve the practicability and aesthetic character of artificial grass, and the following main points will help you to prolong the service life of the field for a longer time:
(1) Nuts and bolts:
After the installation of artificial turf in a playground, two weeks are needed for the stability of the turf fiber. We
advise that it’s better not to hold any sports events in the meanwhile, and no heavy-duty instrument or unnecessary
transport vehicle is allowed to enter the field. During this period, it’s necessary to diminish the frequency of sweep
to the maximum, especially at high temperatures.
(2) Maintenance of cleanliness:
Sweeping the artificial turf is the only effective way in keeping your playground in the best state of motion. During
the period when the field is used frequently, cleaning and maintenance should be done at least once each month,
and the refuse on the field should be removed timely.
(3) Control the use of the playground:
Time permitting, after a sports event, let the playground come into another use after a week of maintenanceto the
greatest extent.
(4) Supply enough dustbins so as not to have the garbageoverflowed.
(5) Repair small damages timely:
Early spring is a good time to maintain and mend artificial turf. Scrutinize whether the junctures are loose and the
backer of the whole turf is damaged, torn or burned. If required, replenish and fill auxiliary materials in time.
(6) Such signs as “no smoking” and “no food allowed” should be set up within your field.
