What’s the advantage of artificial turf compared with natural grass

With durable service as the design philosophy, artificial grass doesn’t need “rest”compared to natural grass.

What’s the advantage of artificial turf compared with natural grass

    1. Front-end investment

The front-end investment in natural grass is larger than that in artificial turf, because it needs a great deal of manpower and material resources for soil loosening, grass transplanting,
fertilization, water diversion and care, and if there are greater weather discrepancies or water
    resources problems, then constant temperature projects and diversion works will be constructed;
but for artificial turf, such issues needn’t be considered, and it is just feasible to smooth out the
field and set up a fixed drainage ditch;small and one off investment calls for less manpower
    and material resources.

    2. Base selection:
Only soil is available to natural grass. Moreover, soil loosening and fertilization, etc. are of the essence. If the base is not soil, it’s necessary to purchase goodquality soil to lay down the ground and so on; however, artificial turf is immune to these troubles, for any base is available to it and no project need be carried out for it.
    3.Weather fastness

The weather fastness of natural grass is much worse than that of artificial turf, for natural grass needs more comfortable spaces and regular watering instead of obvious temperature difference, so its growth will be affected by all bad weathers;the setup of water diversion or constant temperature system being able to resolve the problem, their operation will incur costs; however, artificial turf will not be influenced by any weathers but will remain its original color and state
    all the time.

    4.Abrasive resistance
The abrasive resistance of natural grass is so fragile that it will often suffer from breakage or death easily under friction and pressure, while artificial turf is made of 100 percent polypropylene fiber, so it has good abrasionperformance according to experimental data, long-term practical experience and tests from specialist agencies.

    5.Elasticity and resilience
Compared with natural grass, artificial turf’s superficial net structure strengthens its elasticity
and resilience, able to overcome “degenerative” phenomena peculiar to other grasses. It can also
decentralize the strong tension in strenuous exercise, making the turf hard to damage, and the
sand in motion will also remain a higher smoothness owing to the net density of fiber.

    6. Color stability:
Natural grass has a very limited ability in maintaining its original color, for various influencing factors
can damage its color directly, while artificial turf is made from unique polymer, in which stabilizer and
pigment is mixed. The data, from 6,000 hours of test with meteorograph, proves that it
    is more stable and uvioresistant.

    7.Environmental protection property
As proved by German Um welt Amt stnttg art’s experimental data on environmental protection,
artificial turf contains no heavy metals. The test conclusion of Netherlandish guide on soil protection
NVM2508 is grade A standard, meaning that it is the fiber carrier of organisms degraded to the nature. So both natural grass and artificial turf are environmentally friendly.

    8. Usability:
A worldwide independent test result on artificial turf: According to the conclusion reached by London Laboratory through a test on low sliding damping NSFSKZ,the product has more excellent controllable sliding; in comparison with natural grass, artificial turf can raise greatly athletes’ skills and minimize the friction under feet, thus reducing harm to the turf.

    9.Maintenance:
In addition to great work amount and long time, the maintenance cost for natural grass is very high, which will restrict games and service condition, and a great deal of manpower and material resources are also needed for transplanting, cultivating and trimming the grassland as well as protecting it from being treaded on; no maintenance is needed for artificial turf, and only that sand need be replenished, etc.

    10.No loss:

Any change to the purpose of the field will make the artificial grass moved promptly to the corresponding site and used for other purposes or jump places, without economic losses to be caused; but the property of natural grass determines that it will never get such flexibility and repeating usability.
